The Global Teacher Award (GTA) builds teachers’ skills, confidence and practical approaches to incorporate global learning into the curriculum and active global citizenship in the school, as well as partnership collaboration.
This course is for Primary and Secondary teachers, and it promotes skills, confidence and practical approaches to incorporate global learning into the curriculum, and active global citizenship into the school.
Endorsed by Oxfam and approved by the British Council, this course is currently offered, across the country, free to schools and their teachers across all phases and all subjects.
It is particularly useful for International/PSHE/MFL coordinators, and teachers with responsibility for Eco-Schools, Rights Respecting Schools, fair trade or global/international links.
Our next open courses will take place at the Tower Hamlets PDC, on 11th and 25th February 2020, 14:00 – 17:00. Please note that to access funding for the training, you must be available for both sessions.
