The Global Teacher Award (GTA) builds teachers’ skills, confidence and practical approaches to incorporate global learning into the curriculum and active global citizenship in the school, as well as partnership collaboration.
This course introduces key themes from the global Sustainable Development Goals that enrich teaching and learning in the classroom.
This course is for Primary and Secondary teachers, and it promotes skills, confidence and practical approaches to incorporate global learning into the curriculum, and active global citizenship into the school.
Endorsed by Oxfam and approved by the British Council, this 6 hour course is currently offered, across the country, free to schools and their teachers across all phases and all subjects.
It is particularly useful for International/PSHE/MFL coordinators, and teachers with responsibility for Eco-Schools, Rights Respecting Schools, fair trade or global/international links.

The GTA is also available, fully funded, for your whole staff team. If you would like us to deliver this training in your school as an INSET, please contact us! We can run whole school GTA in your school at times/days that suit you (whole day or 2x half days).
