No More Bricks in the Wall is a campaign to make 3 October the European Day for Memory and Welcome.
The project Snapshots From the Borders aims to improve the critical understanding of European, national and local decision makers and of public opinion about global interdependencies determining migration flows towards European borders.
HEC is working with other development education centres across the UK (and organisations across Europe) to campaign for the recognition of this day, with a series of events in London on 3 October, and workshops and film screenings in all over the capital, before and after.
Our main screening will take place on 3rd October, 7:00pm at London’s City Hall.
We will be screening the award-winning Norwegian film, Falling Forward at London’s City Hall.
Speaking at the event will be UNHCR’s Representative to the UK, Ms. Rossella Pagliuchi-Lor.
